A Shi...pload of New Stuff: BareMinerals Haul

Hey Lovelies! (:
So I went on a BareMinerals spree, and I've got to say, the brand is totally worth all the hype that it gets! I looked around to get the best deals, and I also snagged the original primer 'prime time' which I forgot to include in the photos....

So I started by nipping in to Derby intu's Boots, to ask for a consultation and get colour matched-I didn't want to buy online before checking which colour I would be. The lady on the counter was lovely and even got me to make-up half of my face so that I was confident in applying it naturally. She applied 4 colours in stripes down my jawline, and blended them down, 2 of them blended in nicely and matched my colour but we decided that Fairly Medium actually matched the yellower tone of my complexion better than the others.
I decided to go for the original powder over the matte or the liquids, as I only wanted a basic coverage that I could build up if needed and my consultation showed me that the original foundation would give me a natural look and glow, over the matte which I may buy for the summer months so that I can apply it over the oily sunscreen moisturisers I'll apply to matte it down. Advantages to this foundation is that it also contains an SPF 15, and doesn't clump, cake or flake during the day.
All of BareMinerals face products boast a swirl, tap, and buff technique, and are therefore easy to apply to give a natural look and don't leave me with an orange line down the side of my face, bonus!

The lady that did my consultation used the Precision Face brush to apply the foundation, which I really liked using when I trialled it, I managed to snag this for a fraction of it's retail price at LookFantastic.com and it arrived very quickly. The slight slant to the brush, and the compact bristles make the application of the foundation flawless and give great coverage. I got mine for £13.50 instead of £24

With my order from FeelUnique, I got a free mini Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in 'Dare Devil', it's a lovely berry shimmer. It has a lovely golden purple shimmer to it and smells lush! I've not tried it on my lips yet, but below is a basic swatch.

A couple of weeks ago, Groupon where doing an offer for a £25 Feel Unique voucher for £15, with an additional 20% off local deals, meaning I got a £25 voucher for £12. I decided to order a couple of their facial skin care products, both are £15 each. So I managed to get both of them for a massive saving of£17! £8.50 each, Bargain!
I can't wait to try both of these products when the one's i'm currently using run out! They'll be included into my daily routine and i'll update once I've tried them! They both have excellent reviews.

The purifying facial cleanser is a cleansing lotion for all skin types and boasts a perfectly cleaner, instantly hydrated and renewed feeling to the skin, and is supposed to remove makeup, dissolve impurities and re-balance the skin for a softer and smoother complexion, whilst reducing the size of pores. The key ingredients are ActiveSoil Complex, Pineapple, Lychee and Guava Fruit Enzymes, Avocado Oil, and Pomegranate Extract.
The deep cleansing foam is a cleansing foam which can also be used for all skin types and boasts the ability to cleanse without drying out your skin, by foaming into a rich lather in order to deep clean pores and instantly refresh skin. The key ingredients in this one are ActiveSoil Complex, Grape Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, and Starfruit.

I got the Main Event Collection for Face and Eyes mainly for the Mineral Veils as they retail for £21 each and when I had my consultation, the original mineral veil gave me an awesome glow and absorbs your excess oil, which minimises the appearance of pores. I wanted to also try the Radiance All-Over Face colours; these are supposed to give better natural coverage and colour to your face, to make you glow. I probably won't use the blushers all that much, but hopefully they'll give a natural finish and a rosy look. I love the eyeshadow colours that they chose for the set as there are natural colours, and colours for smokey eyes-my favourite types of eyeshadow shades which allow me to get the looks I want.
The collection cost me £33.15 after applying a 15% discount, meaning I saved nearly £100 off of the retail prices.
