Nail Challenge: Red

Hi Loves!
Today's October Nail Challenge prompt is: Red. I found that I don't actually own many red polishes at all.... and ended up going simple!

I started with two thin coats of Barry M 'Red Wine' which is slightly darker than the majority of the photographs show, I find that red polishes are generally one of the hardest to get accurate colour representative photos of. Red Wine applied really nicely, the polish was a great consistency and it took two coats for full opacity, it definitely dried quickly too, as I was able to apply the glitter pretty much straight after applying the second coat.

One thin coat of Glisten & Glow (HK Girl) 'Stuck on Blu! Basecoat' - £6.55 from Rainbow Connection
- Two coats of Barry M 'Red Wine' - £2.99 from Superdrug/Boots
Gradient with Dollish Polish 'I Can't Put My Arms Down! - $5/10 from Dollish Polish
- One thin coat of Poshe 'Fast Drying Top Coat' - £4.95 from Nail Polish Direct

I then lightly sponged on a small amount of Dollish Polish 'I Can't Put My Arms Down', applying more towards the bottom of the nail and less as I went along, except for on the ring finger which I applied the glitter in the opposite direction.
