Alien Like You

Hey Lovelies!

The sun is shining so thought I'd do my nails whilst I could get better photos ;).
Today's mani is Pocket Money Polishes 'Alien Like You' over China Glaze's 'Smoke and Ashes'.

Firstly, I applied one coat of Smoke and Ashes, it was opaque with just this coat so I left it at that as I usually do when covering with an indie glitter. It applied really nicely, with even coverage. S&A is a lovely black creme with a subtle greeny gold shimmer to it.

Smoke and Ashes was one of CG's Capitol Colours that was released March 2012 for the Hunger Games collection, I'm slowly getting all of the collection as I love the books/movies and all the polishes are lovely! :)

- One thin coat of Essence's 'Peel Off Base Coat' - £4 from Sally Magpies
- One coat of China Glaze 'Some and Ashes' - £4.95 from Nail Polish Direct
- One coat of Pocket Money Polishes Glitter Babies 'Alien Like You' - £4 from Pocket Money Polishes
- One coat of Glisten and Glow (HK Girl) 'Fast Drying a Super Shiny Clear Topcoat' - £6.55 from Rainbow Connection

I then covered it with one coat of Alien Like You which is totally lush! It's name is a definite fit.
It has small holo blue hexes, slightly bigger silver holo squares, bigger green and silver holo hexes, silver holo diamonds and large blue holo dots. I only had to fish for a couple of the larger glitters at first, by the time i'd done a few nails, they were coming out nicely! Definitely a nice amount of them in the bottle!

Alien Like You was inspired by the song on Being Erica, which I watched before Christmas and loved both the show and the song, which made me want this polish even more. It's totally gorgeous anyway so my decision was easy, I HAD to have it :p. It's being officially released on the 25th Jan!
