Essie - Avenue Maintain and My Own Topcoat

Hey Lovelies! (:
So I got bored today and came across glitter that I've had for ages and had yet to use so I made it into a top coat with a clear polish that I got in a pack and would never use.

Started with a base of Essie 'Avenue Maintain' (£1.99 from Fragrance Direct) which is a lovely blue colour that is a one coater, I did apply two coats though as a precautionary. It has a shiny finish which can be seen below, all pictures are without topcoat.

I found a clear polish that I got in a pack from TK Maxx that I would never use so I added some purple, dark blue and light blue glitter to it. It shimmered lovely in the light and gave even coverage. I was quite surprised since it was the first I'd ever made myself. I don't have anything to keep the glitter suspended right now but if I shake it enough before each use, I'll still be able to use it ;) and since it was made with a clear polish I didn't even have to apply a normal topcoat other than this one. :D
