Now You See Me

Hey Lovelies!
Last Monday (21st), I went to see Now You See Me at the cinema, and it was the best movie i'd seen in quite some time. I absolutely loved it! Kept me interested and on the edge of my seat trying to figure it out for the majority of the movie. So I attempted to do nails inspired by the advertisements and the movie. I don't particularly like them but I thought I'd post them anyway.

I started with a base of Avon Speed Dry+ 'Rapid Black' which has quickly become my favourite black polish. Fast drying, right consistency and only needs two coats for full opacity and no streaks.

- One coat of Sally Hansen's 'Insta-Grip Fast Dry Base Coat' - £1.49 from BandM Bargains
- Two coats of Avon Speed Dry+ 'Rapid Black' - £3 from Avon
- Stamping with Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine 'Blood Orange' - £3.99 from Superdrug
- Flamey thing with Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine 'Blue Grape' and Limited Edition Summer Yellow (Only available in Boots) - £3.99 each
- One coat of Seche Vite 'Fast Dry Top Coat' - £5.49 from Amazon

I then stamped all but my ring finger with Pueen's nail plate 34 from the Love Elements collection (Amazon - £16.89, didn't take very long to arrive). I love the image plates, my first time using Pueen plates. I used Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine 'Blood Orange' but it didn't show up too well on the black background :(

I then attempted some kind of flame nail art on the ring finger, firstly dragging Barry M's Limited Edition 'Summer Yellow' (Only available in Boots stores - £3.99) polish up the nail using the Avon dotting/striper tool and then using Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine 'Blue Grape' up over the top.
