Yesterday I was asked to review a couple of Nail Lacquers from SpaRitual, and they arrived this morning. Speedy! I have two polishes from their Summer 2013 Special Edition 'Laugh Collection' called Hugs and Giggle. The names alone make me smile :D.
Today we have Emily de Molly's Oceanic Forces! I finally got my sticky mitts on the gorgeous polish from Sally Magpies! Okay, it was a little pricey at £11.50 but what do you expect., they came from Australia originally and are very hard to get a hold of especially in England! This polish was DEFINITELY worth the price!!
The post is quite picture packed! So apologies!
I'm in love with this gorgeous, mysterious polish. It reminds me of the deep ocean and bubbles (:
Sorry I've not posted for a while, time just seems to have been eaten this past week and I was going to post yesterday but I was having so much trouble choosing what to do, I waited until I could decide.
So anyways, todays mani was inspired by the Care Bears, but I've just uploaded the pics and thought of the Mean Girls quote: "I wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school... I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy..." ... "She doesn't even go here!"
This weekend I wrote a 3 page list of nail art techniques and designs I'd like to do at some point, here's the first one I can cross off my list :) .... Water Spotting, inspired by the OPI Black Spotted polish. WS is like a different take on Water Marbling.
My haul from Dollish arrived this morning and I had to ask the lovely ladies from the all things nails group on facebook to help me choose which to try first. They helped me decide on 'Those Meddling Kids', a gorgeous pale green creme which has a greeny blue shimmer to it, little purple and yellow circular glitter, slightly bigger orange circles/ hexes, and then larger purple, orange and yellow hexes.
I have something very exciting to share with you today! The British Nail Bloggers have joined together and have just launched a giveaway, with prizes totalling a whopping $250, for you lovelies to try your hand at winning!.
So this was actually supposed to be yesterday's post but I was super busy.
Last Thursday the lovely Darling Diva did a facebook competition, for 5 people to win two of her not yet released polishes from the upcoming Madonna collection. These were 'Pretender' and 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore', I was actually lucky enough to be one of the five to be randomly chosen to win them :D, they arrived yesterday morning; which took less than a week!
I'm in love with Pretender, the pretty thermal. The pictures below were taken this evening, but the polish was applied yesterday morning. There's a crack on my pinkie finger cause I got it trapped in my baby nieces carrier, please ignore it! :P
I love my nails today, they shimmer so nicely in the lovely sun.
China Glaze 'Fairy Dust' has got to be one of my favourite polishes EVER! Makes anything look prettier and more exciting. I personally think Nails Inc 'Totes Pink' is quite boring on its' own so I needed to liven it up :)
Yesterday's nail polish choice was due to the sunny weather. I wanted a summery colour that would shine in the sun! and what a 'fantastical' polish it is! ;) Although there's a lot going on on each nail alone, it's quite pretty and there is so much different pretty glitter!
I'm not sure if it really suits my yellowish colour though :P.
