Matte Leopard

My first post!
So, I finally bit the bullet and started my blog! :)

For this mani, I used Sally Hansen Insta-Grip Fast Dry Base Coat. I got this for Christmas but it was originally from Fragrance Direct for £1.49.

Barry M's Matt White is used for the base, I have gotten through about 5 bottles of this in the last year! I love it for the base colour for stamping. It's my ideal, cheap white! Goes on well for me in about two coats, just the right consistency; not too thick and not too thin! However, when I make it towards the bottom of the bottle it does get a little goopy and thick. I usually get them from Boots or Superdrug for £2.99.

For the stamping, I used Barry M's Cyan Blue. This is one of my favourite polishes, I love the colour. It is more of a medium, bright cyan blue and I like it either glossy or mattified! It's great for stamping as the consistency of the polish is thick enough to stamp correctly! I brought mine from Superdrug about 2 years ago for £2.99.

The top coat used was Rimmel Pro Matte Finish, my go to for matte! Dries pretty quickly too. From Superdrug for about £4.59 but I can't find it in many shops anymore, did just buy another from for £4.13 though; YAY for student discount and free shipping! ;). If you don't get student discount, it's £4.59 with free shipping.

The stamp used is Konad M57, this was my first ever nail plate and probably my most used. I love the zebra and leopard patterns and I find it really easy to use and the image usually stamps fully. However, the images are a little on the small side for my nails and sometimes I need to stamp my middle fingers and thumbs more than once (aligning the image up). This was from Funtica for £4.00.

I used the Konad Multi Stamp and Scraper set which is double ended and has a little base to stand it in, this makes it easier to keep clean and gain access too for each finger. I got mine from Funtica for £4.95.
